ACCORD AIR SYSTEMS has experience with all electric systems, such as door screen heating, night storage heating (commercial), quartzray elements, air-to-air, and air-to-water heat pumps. We have also designed and installed bulk propane, nat. gas & oil fired heating systems from churches to aircraft hangers, using most of the equipment manufacturers known in the commercial heating marketplace. With the 'drive' towards reduced carbon emissions & energy efficiency, we have always sought to apply the best ways of saving customers money, and constantly explore the best ways of achieving this. We have been installing heat pump systems since they were first thought of, and indeed almost all equipment installed by ACCORD AIR SYSTEMS nowadays is a heat pump of one format or another. We are aiming to specialise in the supply & installation of air-to-air, air-to-water and ground-to-water heat pumps. For the uninitiated - All heat pumps utilise the refrigeration vapour compression cycle as the medium for heat transfer, which is inherently highly efficient. air-to-air types are those which dispose of, or retrieve energy from the outdoor air with one component unit mounted externally. air-to-water types are those which dispose of, or retrieve energy from a source of water, ie. River, pond, lake, well, with one component unit mounted externally. ground-to-water types are those which dispose of, or retrieve energy from the ground, ie. bore holes with both components usually unit mounted internally.
